There are tons of nerves and emotions leading up to a boudoir shoot, and that’s ok! I’m here to help! I wanted to write down some guidelines and suggestions to ease and organize your minds and prepare you for this awesome experience!

Pamper Time: Treat yourself to a little spa day before your shoot! Get a mani and pedi, take a relaxing bath, light for favourite candle, and maybe even a face mask can help you feel extra fabulous and ready to shine for your big day!

Wardrobe Wonderland: Although we help you figure out what to wear during your photoshoot, sometimes it’s fun to dig through your closet for outfits that make you feel confident and sexy. Whether it's lingerie, a cozy sweater, or your favourite tee, pick what makes you smile. Boudoir wardrobe can be anything that makes you feel empowered!

Accessorize, Babe: Don't forget the little details! Grab some playful accessories like earrings, bracelets, or even a cute hat. These can add a touch of personality to your photos and make posing even more fun.

Move your body: Practice your favourite poses in the mirror or have a silly dance party to boost your confidence. All of our clients mention on of their favourites part of the photoshoot is all the laughter. When you move your body it releases stress and can help you feel more confident walking into your shoot. But don’t worry, we’re expert posers and will help guide you throughout the entire photoshoot.

Playlists Are Essential: Create a killer playlist of your favorite tunes. Music can help set the mood and make you feel like a superstar. Bonus points if you sneak in a dance move or two!

Snack Attack: Keep some yummy snacks on hand to keep your energy up. Fruit, chocolate, or your guilty pleasure – whatever keeps you fueled and feeling good. Our studio does carry snacks and drinks on hand, so let us know what you like and we can have it ready for you!

BFF Support: Bring along a friend for extra support and fun. Having someone to share laughs and encouragement can make the experience even more enjoyable.

Laugh It Off: Remember, it's all about having fun! Don't take yourself too seriously. If you feel a little silly or awkward, just laugh it off – those candid moments make for great photos.

Look through Pinterest: Go through Pinterest and find your favourite photos that you want to re-create. Having a visual on how you want to be photographed can be helpful for you and your photographer.

Confidence Boost: Remind yourself of what makes you amazing. Whether it's your killer smile, infectious laugh, or killer dance moves, embrace the things that make you uniquely you. Your confidence will light up the camera, promise!
