Vancouver Beauty Photographer Creates Medusa Inspired Portraits
Just in time for Halloween! We brought all our creative energy into this photoshoot. From the moment I started envisioning this set I just couldn’t wait to bring it to life. This project was purposely shot and designed for The Portrait Masters Competition. Their special category this round was “Into The Wild”. When I started brainstorming ideas I knew I needed a live animal. Not something cute or typical; something that will grab attention and bring a little bit of fear and drama into the images! We were lucky enough to find an amazing company called Wild Education BC, which provides private, hands-on access and education to reptiles. They not only provided us with 2 bins full of snakes, but also lizards and even a tarantula!
Along with the A+ snake models, we also worked with Model, Shawna Ram and Lyndsey from Doll Face Makeup Artistry. This team nailed it and I couldn’t be happier with how these portraits came together.
